A large window framed a quintessential Lisbon view: red roofs cascading toward the river, dappled in golden afternoon light.

While the design leans contemporary, there’s a warmth here that stops it from feeling cold or hotel-like. Subtle local touches — textured tiles, artisanal ceramics and curated books — made the room feel personal rather than prefabricated.

Modern amenities are well considered: high-speed Wi-Fi, ample charging points and a kitchenette area that’s perfect for longer stays or late-night snacks. The bed was supremely comfortable, with linens that flirted with luxury without feeling fussy.

FOOD & DRINK
